PMG Grading On-site in London in April 2019

Posted on 11/02/2019

PMG is offering another opportunity for on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation of paper money.

Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®) is pleased to announce that it will perform on-site authentication, grading and encapsulation of paper money at its London office in April 2019. This is the second time that PMG, a leading third-party paper money grading service, has offered on-site grading in the United Kingdom, following a successful inaugural event in January 2019.

The PMG London on-site grading event will be held April 15-19, 2019, at the office of NGC International UK Ltd. (NGC UK), the United Kingdom-based affiliate of PMG. Vintage and modern notes from nearly all countries are eligible, and there are no additional fees for the on-site grading.

Submissions for the London PMG on-site grading event may be made to NGC UK or PMG’s Munich, Germany affiliate, NGC International GmbH (NGC GmbH). Submissions may also be made at PaperMoneyFair Maastricht, being held in Valkenburg, the Netherlands, on April 13-14, 2019. (See submission instructions below.)

Founded in 2005, PMG provides an expert and impartial assessment of a banknote’s authenticity and grade. After grading, notes are encapsulated in PMG’s secure, tamper-evident holder, which is designed for long-term preservation and protection.

Every note that PMG certifies is backed by its comprehensive guarantee of authenticity and grade. The PMG Guarantee, combined with the accuracy, consistency and integrity of the PMG grading team, results in higher prices realized and greater liquidity for PMG-certified notes.

NGC UK accepts PMG submissions on a year-round basis for shipment (with insurance coverage) to PMG’s headquarters in the United States for authentication, grading and encapsulation. Once completed, the submissions are shipped back to NGC UK (again with insurance coverage) to be returned to the submitters.

On-site grading provides the additional benefit of a significantly faster turnaround time. These events are held periodically at NGC UK’s office.
