PMG to Grade Notes On-site in Munich in July

Posted on 09/05/2019

This is Germany's second PMG on-site event, which offers submitters much-faster turnaround times.

NGC International GmbH (NGC GmbH), the German affiliate of Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®), will offer on-site PMG note grading services in Munich, Germany, July 15-20, 2019. Submissions must be received by the Munich office by 17:00 on Thursday, July 11.

This is the fourth time that PMG, a leading third-party paper money grading service, has offered on-site grading in Europe. (PMG has previously offered on-site grading events in London and Munich.) Vintage and modern notes from nearly all countries are eligible, and there are no additional fees for the on-site grading.

Founded in 2005, PMG provides an expert and impartial assessment of a banknote’s authenticity and grade. After grading, notes are encapsulated in PMG’s secure, tamper-evident holder, which is designed for long-term preservation and protection.

Every note that PMG certifies is backed by its comprehensive guarantee of authenticity and grade. The PMG Guarantee, combined with the accuracy, consistency and integrity of the PMG grading team, results in higher prices realized and greater liquidity for PMG-certified notes.

NGC GmbH accepts PMG submissions on a year-round basis for shipment (with insurance coverage) to PMG’s headquarters in the United States for authentication, grading and encapsulation. Once completed, the submissions are shipped back to NGC GmbH (again with insurance coverage) to be returned to the submitters.

On-site grading provides the additional benefit of a significantly faster turnaround time. These events will be held periodically at the Munich office.

Submissions for the Munich PMG on-site grading event may be made to NGC GmbH or to PMG’s London affiliate, NGC International UK Ltd. (NGC UK).
